We're telling you where we stand before we ask for anything
We're not open for bookings yet. Norwegian law requires any package tour with prepaid flights and hotels to be backed by Reisegarantifondet, the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund, before a booking can be accepted. It protects you if an operator can't deliver.
The routes, content and prices on this site are real. We're arranging the security the guarantee fund requires. Once it's in place we register, and bookings open. Until it's in place, this site is a preview and not a shop, so there are no bookings and no payments.
What you can do now is reserve your interest. The first 20 or so people on the list get first choice of travel dates when bookings open, before we open to everyone. That's not a discount and not a guaranteed place. It's a place in the queue.
Questions
- Can I book a trip today?
- No. Nothing on this site can be booked or paid for yet. You can look at the full itineraries and prices, and join the early-access list.
- Will we travel with strangers?
- No. Every trip is private: your group, your own guide and your own driver. Nobody else joins.
- Can we choose our dates?
- Yes. You pick the start date; we confirm guide, driver and hotels for those dates when you book.
- What happens after I join the list?
- A real person from Sooriya replies within 3 working days with next steps and answers to your questions. We won't ask you for any payment.
- What will I pay for once I'm there?
- Very little. Meals, entry tickets, safaris, tips and transport are already paid for, and your guide takes care of them as you go. Souvenirs and gifts are up to you. If something goes wrong, your guide and our local team are a phone call away.
- What is Reisegarantifondet?
- It's the Norwegian guarantee fund that protects travellers if a tour operator can't deliver. The law requires it for any package that includes prepaid transport and accommodation. We have to be registered before we can take your money, and until then we won't.
- When will bookings open?
- We don't have a firm date yet, because it depends on the guarantee fund registration. People on the early-access list hear first.
- What happens to my details?
- When you join the list, the form emails your details to us, and nothing is stored on this site. Our privacy note explains who handles your details and your rights.
